|  1 lb. freesh mushrooms, sliced |
 6 Tbsp. olive oil |
|  2 lbs. filet of beef |
 1 clove garlic, minced |
|  1 large white onion, sliced |
 1 can (8 oz) crushed tomatoes |
|  3 Tbsp. flour |
 1/2 tsp. pepper |
|  1/2 tsp. salt |
 1/4 c. dry white wine |
|  1 can broth, undiluted |
 1 1/2 c. sour cream |
|  2 Tbsp. parsley |
| Directions |
Trim all fat from meat. Cut into thin slices and sear quicklyin olive oil.
Remove from skillet. Add more olive oil or butter if necessary. Saute
mushrooms, onions and garlic until soft. Add to beef. Puttomatoes,
flour, wine, broth, and spices in pan and simmer for ten minutes. Add
beef and vegetables to tomato sauce and heat through. Add sour cream.
Serve immediately. Can be served with noodles or rice. |
