Western Burger
IngredientsIngredients
 3 lbs of ground sirloin  3 cloves caramelized garlic
 2 tblspns chopped scallion  1 tblspn dijon mustard
 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce  1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire
 salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix with a fork,
taking care not to over work the meat. Divide the mixture into 4-6 equal
portions, and form into patties. Chill for 15-20 min's. Turn and grill for
4 min's for rare, 5-6 min's for medium, and 10 hours for well done :-)



Beef Stroganoff
IngredientsIngredients
 1 lb. freesh mushrooms, sliced  6 Tbsp. olive oil
 2 lbs. filet of beef  1 clove garlic, minced
 1 large white onion, sliced  1 can (8 oz) crushed tomatoes
 3 Tbsp. flour  1/2 tsp. pepper
 1/2 tsp. salt  1/4 c. dry white wine
 1 can broth, undiluted  1 1/2 c. sour cream
 2 Tbsp. parsley
Directions
Trim all fat from meat. Cut into thin slices and sear quicklyin olive oil.
Remove from skillet. Add more olive oil or butter if necessary. Saute
mushrooms, onions and garlic until soft. Add to beef. Puttomatoes,
flour, wine, broth, and spices in pan and simmer for ten minutes. Add
beef and vegetables to tomato sauce and heat through. Add sour cream.
Serve immediately. Can be served with noodles or rice.





Grandma Ray's Skillet Meal
 1/2-1 lb of bacon
 large onion, sliced
 Brown bacon and onion. Then add the following layers to the skillet.
 Layer of carrots  Layer of sliced potatoes
 Layer of cabbage   a little water
 Salt and pepper to taste  1 Tbsp margarine
 Cover and cook until vegetables are tender (20 minutes)
Can serve with a little weakened vinegar.
