Jelly Roll
IngredientsIngredients
 4 eggs  1 c. sugar
 1/4 tsp salt  1 tsp vanilla
Beat eggs very well then gradually add sugar and other ingredients.
Then add:
 1 c. sifted cake flour  1 tsp B.P.
 2 Tbsp cornstarch
Directions
Line jelly roll pan with wax paper. Grease it well with margarine.
Bake at 350' for 13 min. Sprinkle cake with powdered sugar. Roll.
Unroll and spread with apple or crabaapple jelly. Reroll. Wrap in
wax paper or towel. (Fill just before serving)
 Variation: coolwhip and lightlysweetened berries.





Prune Cake Squares
IngredientsIngredients
 1/2 c. margarine  1 c. sugar
 2 eggs  1 1/2 c. flour
 1/2 tsp salt  1/2 tsp B.P. in 1/4 c. sour milk
 1/2 tsp cloves  1 tsp cinnamon
 1 c. pitted, cooked, drained prunes  1/2 tsp nutmeg
Directions
Combine and pour into 7"x11" greased and floured pan. Bake at
450-' for 25-30 min. Ice with butter icing or sift powdered sugar
over top. Use lace doily for pattern. Freeze well.
