|  Scald 4 c. milk |
 1/2 c. sugar |
|  1/4 tsp salt |
 1 tsp vanilla |
|  6 well-beaten egg yolks or 4 whole eggs |
 dash nutmeg |
|  1 Tbsp cornstarch |
| Directions |
Scald milk, salt, sugar, and cornstarch. Pour over beaten eggs.
Add vanilla. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Place baking dish in pan
of hot water. Bake at 325 for i hr or until set. Can add 1/4 c. rice
and raisins if desired. | |
